Bug ID: 120257
Summary: PRINTING, PDF: Adding merged cells to Print Ranges
truncates their content in print or PDF
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 6.2.0.0.alpha0+ Master
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Calc
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
If a merged-cell block is selected and then added to Print Ranges, then the
printed result truncates the content of the cell. It appears that the content
is truncated to the portion which overlaps only the first cell of the merged
set.
Steps to Reproduce:
Open attached demo, or do the following:
1. Create a new spreadsheet. Select A1 and B1, Format->Merge Cells->Merge &
Center Cells.
2. Type "foo" into the merged cell.
3. Click the merged cell to select it (them).
4. Format->Print Ranges->Define (or Add)
5. File->Print, Print Preview, or Export as PDF
Actual Results:
The result shows truncated text -- just 1½ letters ("f" followed by half of an
"o").
Expected Results:
Selecting merged cells and adding to Print Ranges should add both cells, and
the content of the merged cells should print correctly.
Reproducible: Always
