It's assumed that if you are adding more than one caption you'll want to set the style for each one. I'm going to confirm that it's true by setting to NEW, marking as an Enhancement and Lowest as I'm not sure that we'll change it (we'll discuss it), and it probably doesn't affect many users. Also there is an easy work around (just set the style every time).
