So, I did another fresh Debian testing install with version 6.1.2.1 and the
problem still persists. Resetting the user profile makes no difference. I also
tried the appimage from the provided link (also version 6.1.2.1) with the same
result.
However, if I create and save a curve in Ubuntu (which works) I can edit and
save the document in Debian as long as I don't add a new curve.
