I get you mean 5.4 by this. Ok, to determine, if the problem is in Gmail
changing something and breaking tvhgooglemapi, you should try LibreOffice 5.4
in parallel.
If it works with 5.4, then the problem is in LibreOffice.
If it does not work in 5.4, the problem is in tvhgooglemapi.
Maybe the easiest way is to use the portable version of 5.4:
