            Bug ID: 120518
Summary: Request for new feature - Shortcut key for formula
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 5.1.6.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
So as a student doing A-Level Physics I have to write out a lot of formulas and
even though LibreOffice is way better than Microsoft, allowing me to write it
out then turn it into a formula, at this I would really like it if there was a
shortcut key to it (like ctrl+shift+f or something easy). It would be very
helpful as at the moment i have to go to insert>object>formula and it is time
consuming so my notes are usually filled with long lines of text in a format of
a formula but not turned into a formula.
I am currently using LibreOffice on Linux so if it is already implemented in
other operating system versions could you please implement it in the Linux
Version.
