Thanks for the reply. 

1. I'm using Linux Mint (Cinnamon).
2. Yes, I've just checked it in the Linux text editor, it worked well. Now I
remembered I even use the command Ctrl + H to Localize and Substitute and it
works well.

But when I try to use Ctrl + Shift + E to activate track changes, then the
underlined letter "e" appears. And I realized that Ctrl + "z" doesn't work only
after I try to use Ctrl + Shift + E.

I tried to use a shortcut with Ctrl + Shift + (something) in the Linux text
editor and it worked well.
