Slightly different test system here Ubuntu 18.04 (64bit) LibreOffice 6.0.7
I used two base files, one hsql and one firebird and both embedded, and with
LibreOffice options for GL and GTK for the vcl. I was unable to reproduce the
reported behavior. I open tables applied standard filter settings, saved the
table and ODB with that filter setting. Opened the table again and was able to
reset the filter without problem. Also mixed standard filter and auto_filter
together and still not problem with turning it off and/or resetting it.
Perhaps you can supply a test file which caused the problem? Or perhaps you are
using a database engine different then what I tested?
