            Bug ID: 120704
Summary: unable to enter a row where one field is required and
                    has default value in postgresql
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 6.1.2.1 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Base
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
I have a Postgresql database.
Connect and try to enter a row in a table (using a grid) that has a field that
is required and has a default (set in postgresql). if I leave the field empty I
am given an error (to enter data in the field) it does not use the default.
In LO 5.x and 6.0.6 it enters the row as expected, in LO 6.1.2.1 the error
occurs

Steps to Reproduce:
1. set up a postgresql db with a table that has a field required and with a
default value.
2. connect with LO 6.1.2 and create a form with a grid for all fields
3. use the form to add a row - do not enter a value for the field that has a
default.

Actual Results:
error appears saying please enter a value for the field

Expected Results:
row should be created with the default value in the field

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
this works on older versions of LO - it does not work on LO 6.1.2
The database was set up in Postgresql pgadmin - not Libre Office
