             Bug #: 54833
Summary: No progress indicator for break links dialog
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 3.6.1.2 release
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [email protected]

If I want to break the links in a text document, I use Edit>Links... menu
option. In the window that pops up, I select all links and then click on the
"Break links" button.

>From that moment, the window does not show progress of this task.
Sometimes it even shows "(Not responding)" in the window title bar.
After a long long time it recovers though.

This uncertainty can be avoided by providing a progress bar.

I realize that the images can be of different sizes, and the network can have
varying speeds. Therefore the progress bar would be able to show only "x links
broken out of y links" type of display (not based on the sizes of the images
downloaded so far).

But that is enough to give an idea of progress.
