I speak about the same subject. It does not matter, if you start with Writer
Web or Writer. As long as you
1) use chapter numbering
2) save/export into html
you will lose the numbered list information.
If you use normal numbering, this problem does not exist. If you open an html
file with <ol><li> numbered list, it will be interpreted by Writer correctly as
a numbered list.
