Sure, just rename the profile, you can always delete the new one, and name it
back. Testing in safe mode should be equally good, without the hassle of
touching the user profile manually.
Would be nice if you included the exact LibreOffice version, ie. paste the
whole block of text from Help -> About, and a few words about your OS, which
you haven't mentioned, either.
