             Bug #: 54956
Summary: FORMATTING: Conditional formatting on sheet 1 lost
when I add another condition to sheet 2
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 3.6.1.2 release
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
 Status Whiteboard: BSA
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Spreadsheet
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [email protected]

Problem description:

I have a spreadsheet with 9 sheets:
- sheet 1 has no conditional formatting
- sheet 2 has 1 condition for one column
- sheet 3 has no conditional formatting
- sheet 4 has no conditional formatting
- sheet 5 has 3 conditions: 1 for 48 cells, 1 for 8 cells and 1 for 4 cells,
all non-overlapping
- sheet 6 has 3 conditions, like sheet 5
- sheet 7 has 3 conditions, like sheet 5
- sheet 8 has 3 conditions, like sheet 5
- sheet 9 has 1 condition for 48 cells

All of the conditions just change the background color of cells. The conditions
are all of the "All Cells - Color Scale (2 Entries)" type.

I seem to have reached some kind of limit of the total number of rules for
conditional formatting within one spreadsheet. That limit seems to be 1 or 2
less than the number of conditions I've listed above.

Steps to reproduce:
1. I notice that the conditional formatting of one range on one sheet is gone.
2. I add that conditional formatting again.
3. Now the conditional formatting on another sheet is gone.

Current behavior:
See "steps to reproduce" above.

Expected behavior:
Of course I'd like to be able to add additional formatting rules without
affecting the existing ones.

Platform (if different from the browser):
Problem seen on Mac OS X 10.8.1.
Problem didn't show up in a short test on 64-bit Windows 7.
Have not checked Linux yet.
