Bug still exists in LO 6.1.3.2., OpenSUSE 15, 64bit rpm Linux. Standalone forms
are unusable with this bug!
You could work around this with

Sub S_FLUSH(EVENT)
EVENT.SOURCE.ACTIVECONNECTION.flush
End Sub

Start this "After record action" and the data will be saved.
