Another note: the contextual groups are meant for beginners who need less
functions and more guidance. The NB should be as static as possible and has
only a few contextual options. All other properties are set via sidebar and
toolbars. So when you do TC it's supposed to be done by those means. See also

But the issue with toggled Record button is true. And the sidebar should be
open and the TC toolbar have to pop up.
