Abrt crash dump to file for 1 instance of the crash.
I am using Fedora 16 which I installed via tar from the LO download site and
not via the yum Fedora repository.
Impress imports ppt or pptx files that are over 5.8Mb as text files and
presents a dialog box to select text file encoding. Selection of the encoding
type creates a presentation with a plain text document on each "page" -
definitely not a presentation. Smaller presentations open properly.
I have opened the very document via Microsoft Powerpoint in a VM.
I have seen this reported on several web sites but not as a bug.
This first drew my attention when I modified a smaller Presentation, impress,
was unable to perform all the changes I required and the switched to MS PPT, on
day prior to presentation I could not open the file as a Presentation using
Impress. MS PPT could open the document.
I made a copy and removed more and more slides/saving until I could open the
document as a Presentation - I first was able to open a 800K Presentation
successfully.
One person on the web blog suggested that there was a size limitation and this
was affecting the Spreadsheet product also.
At around 5.8Mb I was able to open the Presentation file, making modifications
by adding text would crash Impress - talking about 5 crashes in one morning -
crash which have generated abrt crash reports :-
I was attempting to download the LibreOffice debug packages but I could not
locate the packages ....
