Is there any update on this?
As ownCloud / NextCloud have become the standard for self-hosted cloud
solutions, I think an integration for LibreOffice is absolutely necessary.
As Bastian has already mentioned the current configuration is quite convoluted
(and difficult to find even for advanced users):
Host: example.com
Port: 443
Secure connection: [X]
Root: /remote.php/dav/files/USERNAME/
The following dialog could drastically simplify the setup:
Nextcloud-Address: https://example.com
Username: USERNAME
Password: hunter-2
