I re-tested with
https://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/master/Android-ARM@24-Bytemark-Hosting/2019-01-14_00.28.40/master~2019-01-14_00.28.40_LibreOfficeViewer-strippedUI-debug.apk
1. Document has really excessive long time to load (loading spinner shown for
more than 3 minutes, I calculated this by checking how often a music piece
looped with a known length that I had still playing in the background)
2. Crashes with Libreoffice Viewer has stopped
So the current build is actually worse than the f-droid one I tested this with,
and won't even open it up
