The bug is still there in 6.2.4.
Btw. the headline is misleading, the flicker also happens with hardware
acceleration enabled, at least as we talk about classic rendering.
No flicker in OpenGl mode (seems I need to give OpenGL another shot, it seems
to be improved since I testet it the last time...)
