Priority: medium
Bug ID: 55490
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: Writer crashes when the user attempts to open
"File->Send" submenu and Java is not installed
Severity: major
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Windows (All)
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: 3.6.1.2 release
Component: Writer
Product: LibreOffice
Version 3.6.1.2 (Build ID: e29a214) (I assume this is a 32-bit version of
LibreOffice) running on Windows 7 x64
Components installed: Writer, Calc, Impress
Java NOT installed.
In Writer, if I open the "File" menu and hover with the mouse over "Send", a
submenu with choices is supposed to pop up. Instead, there is an error message
stating that Java is not installed, then LibreOffice crashes.
In Calc and Impress, the menu opens as expected.
On Vista (32-bit), there is only the "java is needed" error, but no crash in
Writer.
