For me, it is fixed in version 6.1.5
In the View menu, I select Full Screen.
But it does not always behave the same, for reasons unknown. Sometimes, a
floating Full Screen box appears. Sometime not. If it does, you can drag it
over the regular menu bar if you want that hidden. But then, the menu bar
becomes visible.
So, it's a bit of a hit and miss, but it works way better than before.
