Bug ID: 123312
Summary: When splitting cells in a Table Into equal proportions
is not selectable if Vertically is chosen first
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 6.0.7.3 release
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: minor
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
When you go to split a cell in a table (in Writer), if you select Vertically,
you are unable to select the option "Into equal proportions" unless you
RE-select Horizontally, then check "Into equal proportions", and then select
Vertically.
This is awkward since most people select the style of split before the select
how the split is to be made (as evidenced by the calls into the help desk).
It is also somewhat strange that the check box for splitting equally or not is
between the two types splits. It would seem to be better placed underneath both
types, or above, or further to the side in its own box.
This is not a catastrophic bug, it is an inconvenience.
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Select a cell in a table
2.Choose to split the cell using the menu under Table | Split Cells... or press
the Split Cells button on the quick access toolbar.
3.Choose to split the cells vertically
4.Attempt to check the "Into equal proportions" checkbox.
Actual Results:
The checkbox is not selectable after performing the above sequence.
Expected Results:
The checkbox should be selectable so that the cell splits into equal segments
after pressing the "OK" button.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
OpenGL enabled: Yes
Additional Info:
This occurs on every desktop we have in our lab (12).
