Apologies, most of the above is a red herring. The bug is simple.
1) Open a blank spreadsheet.
2) Type the number 123 in A1.
3) Type the number 456 in A2.
4) Type =A1-A2 in another field, say C2. Result -333.
5) On C2, type F2, select the formula, and type Ctrl-C.
6) Calc not responding, and clipboard not pasting.
Should I mention that the first time I tried it, I crashed, but after
recovering a blank spreadsheet, it now works fine?
