When I draw a line and select "Insert Points" from the "Edit Points" toolbox
and click on the line I want to insert the point the point doesn't get
inserted.
I can insert a point when
- clicking on the line
- keep the mouse button pressed
- drag the mouse a short distance
- release the mouse button
