Problem description: Status Bar does not show 'Insert'
Current behavior: Insert mode is blank with mode is 'Insert'
Expected behavior: 'INS' or 'INSRT' would appear
Works 'properly' in 3.5.6.2
Maybe the 'overwrite' could be displayed as 'OVER' (as in 3.5)
