Thank you for reporting the bug.
you can change the "Picklistsize" via Menu Tools/Options.../LibreOffice,
register "Advanced" -> [Open Expert Configuration]:
- enter Picklistsize into search field
- [Search]
- change value

Can you tell us please, where and in which version of LO it was possible to
change the values via checkboxes?
