In the attached file there are five words written with letters and a two-digit number in parentheses. I can only assume you meant to say that a digit or a group of digits in parentheses should not be counted as a word. However, I can't see the logic behind this claim. How about letters in parentheses, or digits outside of parentheses? If these are counted as words, why should digits in parentheses be treated differently?
