I have tested on a fresh Win10, using release installers of 6.2.1.2 and 6.2.2.1
to check Add/Remove and Upgrade scenarios. In all cases, all script providers
(two for version 6.2: script provider for JavaScript, and script provider for
BeanShell), and QuickLaunch, remember their unselected state.
