--- Comment #1 from V Stuart Foote <vstuart.fo...@utsa.edu> ---
Unable to reproduce on Windows 10 Pro 64-bit en-US (1803) i7-7700K with 32GB
ram and admin install of a
recent master/6.3.0.0.alpha0+ Build ID:
ce01727e4d6779ea128aa1be09f4af8cad4e1854 and the 3rd party NexusFont v2.6.2
Windows font manager.

Using an <F5> in NexusFont to load the Windows font cache for a moderate sized
collection of fonts ~50 did cause LibreOffice to slow and show
unresponsive--but once NexusFont and LibreOffice had parsed the newly activated
fonts (they are not installed to system, rather NexusFont manages their mounts
and unmounts and makes them available to applications) the added fonts were
available to use in LibreOffice (Writer).

Closing Writer and LibreOffice then removing the folder of fonts in NexusFont
caused no issue. On relaunch of LibreOffice, the fonts have been removed from
the font list and show as not installed.

This all seems to work correctly if with a bit of delay on the LibreOffice
side--can imagine the drag of parsing in a much larger folder of fonts.
