          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 55860
          Assignee: [email protected]
           Summary: SLIDESHOW VIEWING: Preview incomplete
          Severity: normal
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Linux (All)
          Reporter: [email protected]
          Hardware: Other
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
           Version: 3.5.6.2 release
         Component: Presentation
           Product: LibreOffice

When showing a presentation on a notebook using an external display, the
external shows the current state of the current slide while the notebook shows
the current slide plus a preview of the next slide. This is so you know what
the next slide will be.

However, when the current slide uses multiple steps (e.g., 'Appear' effects to
show a list of bullet point items that become visible one after the other on
mouseclick), the notebook shows the exact image that is also on the external
display. In other words, while you can preview what the next slide will be you
cannot see what the next step of the current slide will be. This severely
limits the usefulness of having a preview display.

Solution is to show on the notebook the current slide in its finished state,
just like the next slide is shown in its finished state.
