          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 55950
          Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: FORMATTING: Modifications in a sheet destroy column
                    width in other sheet
          Severity: normal
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: Windows (All)
          Reporter: [email protected]
          Hardware: Other
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
           Version: 3.6.0.4 release
         Component: Spreadsheet
           Product: LibreOffice

The problem started somewhen with "LibreOffice 3.6.0.4 German UI/Locale
[Build-ID: 932b512]" on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit):

When I do edits in a sheet of a Spreadsheet, column width in 1 or several other
sheets get modified. The typical scenario is that I have a complex Spreadhseet
with very different sheets, what has to be printed and / or exported to PDF.
When I am doing some fine tuning to place the contents optimum on the paper
sheets by changing some column widths and similar, suddenly the column widths
in a different, untouched sheet becomes modified, until now always becomes
increased. Generally the more I try to repair the mess the worse everything
becomes, I already had to create a new spreadsheet with AOOo and to transfer
the contents to get my contents printed.

Might also have started more early, because switching to 3.5 does not heal the
problem when the problem has appeared in a document. But I can't remember to
have seen that with 3.5 and more early, may be the document gets some kind of
"infection"? Switching to AOOo 3.4 heals the problem

It's a real problem, I suffer from it in various documents (and so have to do a
lot of work with Spreadsheets with AOOo), but unfortunately I did not find a
way to make that problem reproducible.
