I am disappointed that you choice to "let -core depend on -ooofonts".
Linux systems will have significantly increased installation sized with many
duplicated fonts.
E.g. Google fonts (Carlito, Noto...), Adobe (SourceSansPro, SourceCodePro,
SourceSerifPro), DejaVu, Liberation already exist at least in my system from
dedicated packages...
