Priority: medium
Bug ID: 56078
Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: UI: Grammer Checker Extra Space Not Highlighted
Severity: normal
Classification: Unclassified
OS: All
Reporter: [email protected]
Hardware: Other
Whiteboard: BSA
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Version: 3.5.5.3 release
Component: Writer
Product: LibreOffice
Problem description:
When the grammer check finds an extra space, it is not underlining it in blue
in the document. It also isn't highlighting it in the grammer text window as
well.
This makes it difficult to find where the extra space it detected is located
when it has selected a large paragraph area.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Type a sentence and add an intentional extra space between two words.
2. Do a grammer checker
Current behavior:
The grammer checker isn't highlighting the extra space, which makes it
difficult to find where the extra space it detected is located when it has
selected a large paragraph area.
Expected behavior:
I expected it to also highlight the extra space so it could be seen in both the
document and grammer text window.
Platform (if different from the browser):
Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv:14.0) Gecko/20120715 Firefox/14.0.1
SeaMonkey/2.11
