Whatever nonsense you type, the checker will accept is as correct Dutch. Also if you set the language to English everything in the Dutch text is of course wrong. Then select a word and tell the checker it is Dutch and it will accept is as Dutch (again, even if it is wrong). So, yes the English checker works fine.
