Hello Peter,
Thank you for reporting the bug. I agree with you it's a bit annoying behavior.
It's not only related to images but also to other objects like text boxes.
The workaround is to move the object fast without waiting for 1-2 secods or
using the arrow keys. As there is a working workaround I'm setting this bug
importance to minor and leaving it unconfirmed waiting for comments from senior
members.
