The CRASH might be a DUP of "Bug 44969 - FILEOPEN: Can't open XML files bigger than 1.1 Mb", but that Bug is horrible confusing for (as it seems) lots of different problems Concerning the "General error": I am pretty sure that the reason is the fix for "Bug 35543 - FILEOPEN: hangs when trying to open SpreadsheetML" what replaces a CRASH by that error message. I recommend to leave this CRASH bug unconfirmed until someone finds out what the problem might be, I cant' reproduce the crash, I can't find our whether this one is a real DUP of Bug 44969 or Bug 35543 Because it seems that EXCEL.xml is not "really" supported I think we should only discuss results with Master builds here, where latest fixes are integrated. @Julien: I think your 3.7 witheboard suggestion should show a WORKSFORME for 3.7?
