The toolbar the widget appears on is the 'Slide View' toolbar--relevant to
setting Impress into the 'Slide sorter' view mode (View -> Slide sorter).
On Windows builds I do not reproduce. The "slides" label in system font fits
the space provided for the spinbox widget, which seems to be a fixed width.
