          Priority: medium
            Bug ID: 56311
          Assignee: [email protected]
Summary: UI: Cell Comments do not play well with Frozen Cells
          Severity: normal
    Classification: Unclassified
                OS: All
          Reporter: [email protected]
          Hardware: Other
        Whiteboard: BSA
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
           Version: 3.6.2.2 release
         Component: Spreadsheet
           Product: LibreOffice

Problem description:
Comments of frozen cells are subject to really annoying flickering, overzealous
selection, and rejection of the enter key, making editing comments impossible
until it decides to stop.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open a new Calc Spreadsheet.
2a. Right click a cell A3 (or any cell will do) and select "Insert Comment".
2b. Type a multi-line comment. Resize the box bigger if need be.
2c. Repeat these steps until you have a few cells (A5, A10, B4, C2, B1, etc)
with comments. No text needs to be in the cells themselves.
3. Select a cell B2 and select Window > Freeze to freeze the cells.
4. Now right click on cell A3 (or any cell part of the frozen cells) and select
"Insert Comment" to edit (...insert to edit, right...).

Current behavior:
The comments of cells under the freeze are difficult to edit. The cursor may
not appear immediately. Clicking on any text inside the cell will SELECT ALL
TEXT from the beginning of the comment to the point of the click. Moving the
cursor around may free up the selection, but it won't redraw properly and still
appear selected. If you open a comment and click to the end of the first line
(and move the cursor to free the inadvertent selection) and type enter, you'll
see the cursor momentarily jump to the next line and then jump back without
inserting any new lines. Some clicking around inside the box may return the
comment to a workable state.

Expected behavior:
Like any comment NOT in a cell under freeze
(though maybe better than that, considering I can click inside a just-popped-up
comment and get it to vanish as if I clicked outside it - but that's another
bug).

Platform (if different from the browser):

Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.4 (KHTML, like
Gecko) Chrome/22.0.1229.94 Safari/537.4
