I can reproduce so marking as NEW. My issue is that I'm not positive that I accept that it's a bug. If the change hasn't been accepted then you might actually want it to count the word still. My biggest issue is that there is inconsistency (which is definitely a bug), either the word should be counted, or the word shouldn't, regardless of if "show" is ticked or unticked. Marking as NEW and prioritizing. Normal: The only reason why I would suggest that this is a normal priority bug is because in many settings (such as education) there are very strict word count requirements. We need to at least clarify what that number on the bottom means so that there is absolutely no confusion. Lowest: Not going to impact many people at all, also, compared to a lot of other normal bugs, this is almost trivial. Other note:If you go to tools -> word count, you get the word count without the deleted word(s) regardless of if show is ticked or unticked -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
