If I go to Tools -> Options -> LibreOffice Writer -> Compatibility and unselect
"Use printer metrics for document formatting" then the document would render
fine.
I think this option is what is LibreOffice to load printer fonts only and the
font sit finds are unusable which causes the text to be invisible and have zero
line heights.
