However, do you mean the feature visible in attachment 54508? Then the good news are: this feature is already present in LibreOffice! The bad news are: it does not work in many localizations; i.e., the special menu Search item is visible when you set the UI language of LibreOffice to US English (in LibreOffice Preferences > Language Settings > Languages > Language of ... User Interface), but not when you set the UI language e.g. to German :-( If you mean this feature, you can mark your request as a duplicate of bug 43894, which is exactly about that problem.
