Like discussed with the reporter, the issue disappears when the graphic stack
is being updated. The problem seems to be again coming from the Debian
derivative Linux Mint whose maintainers compile LibreOffice using outdated
libs.
This is not our bug since on distributions using recent libs the problem is not
existent. Closing.
