Indeed, in your bugdoc, the text of the formula is empty. You can see it  by
renaming your file with zip extension and opening it with your archive manager.
Look at Object20 object and its content.xml file. 

How did you make this file? 
I do not reproduce the problem (save an empty formula) when I create a new file
and write a formula from scratch. Tested with LO 3.6.4.0+ under Ubuntu 12.04
x86_64.
