The proposal to solve bug 115311 about nested character styles shows also a few
improvements to paragraph style listing. See comments in

The request here, in other words, is to switch from Hierarchical to Automatic
(which does exactly what is described). This automatic mechanism is not welcome
for many other users.
The number 122 is misleading since most groups are collapsed (and more being
discussed in bug 126257). The first level under Default has 23 entries - not so
many. I would close this issue as WFM.
