            Bug ID: 126422
Summary: Exporting documents with images inserted by links
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 6.2.3.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org
          Reporter: mohith.ma...@skanray.com

While authoring large documents I normally insert images as links only instead
of embedding them into the document. For example an operators' manual that I'm
working on would be 120MB+ with images embedded and under 7MB after inserting
them as links. This saves a lot of time and frustration while saving the
document and when the auto save (which is a good thing) runs every 15 minutes.

When I use links I create a folder then put all my images along with the ODT
file in it so that archival is easy.

It is quote possible that one forgets to do this and links to an image in some
other folder and finally forgets to include this in the archive.

I did little bit of a search to see if there is any way to 'pack' all of the
contents along with the document into a single archive (.zip or the like) so
that archival is made simple and error free.

Please excuse me if a feature is already existing, otherwise please consider
adding a feature, perhaps under File > Export menu to create this packed
archive.
