We have had the same problem in the German openoffice.info-forum. When you
can't see the tables, queries, forms and reports the file content.xml in the
*.odb-file (packed *.zip-file) is destroyed. This file content.xml has links to
all tables, forms and reports, which are saved in other directories of the
*.odb-packed file.
You can restore this file, when you test the entries with a new database and
one table, one form and one report. You can't see the names of the forms and
the reports, but you can see the names of the tables in the folder "database",
wehen you open the file "script". The connection to the database is also
described in this file content.xml
The queries were saved in the content.xml-file. So you can't restore them with
the content inside the *.odb-packed file. I hope you have saved the queries
somehere else ...

Would be interesting to read, what you have done before the database appears
unreadable. 
In the German forum the user had created a new query with Base AOO 3.4.1 - and
then the content.xml has been destroyed ...
