I checked this on
Version: 6.3.0.4 (x64)
Build-ID: 057fc023c990d676a43019934386b85b21a9ee99
1. The paste button being active when there is nothing in the clip board exists
2. the paste button getting deactivated after i copied text from the pdf exists
I could only paste after I closed and reopened Writer.
3. The formatting being reset to original after pasting is working as expected.
