The difference between my suggestion and the method in your comment is whether
the objects being distributed exist at the snap lines defining the distribution
boundaries. In my suggestion there are no objects at the snap lines -
distribution is between them. To achieve the same result with your method the
objects at the snap lines must be deleted after distribution. A minor but real
difference.
