the supported way to launch headless mode is "soffice --headless".
typically you want to add more arguments to listen on a socket, or --convert
some files...
maybe it's not ideal that with only SAL_USE_VCLPLUGIN=svp you get a process
that just hangs but i'm not sure if it's strictly speaking a bug.
