In the attached document, you have applied automatic update to the paragraph
style you used in the table (style "Table Contents" -> Organizer -> [x]
AutoUpdate). This naturally makes any direct formatting you apply to a
paragraph with that style part of that style, and so all such paragraphs get
that formatting.
