When I File > Export > XHTML a file containing math equations, images are
generated for each equation and included in the file via data: URIs. When I
File > Save As > HTML, an external .gif image file is generated for each math
equation.
MathML support across browsers is pretty good these days. No plug-ins etc.
necessary. So please add an option to export the equations in MathML instead of
generating images. Consider making this the default behavior.
